The remains of an old school in Richmond Heights stand alone | Education
A portal to nowhere is all that remains on August 23, 2017, near the end of the demolition process of the old West Richmond Elementary School in Richmond Heights . The middle school closed in 2001 and remained vacant until it was razed. In 1992, the school was renamed A.B. Green Middle School when it converted from an elementary school . In 2016, the city approved a $34 million, mixed-use, luxury apartment project to be built at Dale Avenue and Boland Place. The Residences at Boland Place plans include 3 ,500 square feet of retail space on the ground level of the site that also housed a church on the corner.
