Megan Favignano @MFavignano Columbia Police arrested Christopher Latrell Moore , 35, of Columbia after a standoff Sunday evening in north Columbia . Moore was a suspect in an assault with a gun that happened early Sunday morning in the city. Columbia Police Department spokeswoman Bryana Larimer confirmed Moore 's name late Sunday night in a news release. The release also said Moore was arrested on the following felony charges: Two counts of rape in the first degree; two counts of sodomy in the first degree; armed criminal action ; burglary; failure to register with a bond of $5,000; tampering with physical evidence; unlawful possession of a concealable firearm and misdemeanor domestic assault . Larimer said Moore allegedly broke into a home while armed with a gun at 3:52 a.m. Sunday on the 200 block of Old 63 North in Columbia. A female was injured during that incident. ZIONSVILLE, Ind. -- Police released the identity of a man killed in a deadly shooting in Zionsville. Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Quail Run Court  at Quail Run Apartments Friday morning around 5:45 a.m. after residents heard shots fired in the area. Chief Robert Knox said officers were on the scene within a minute. Police found the victim, later identified as 30-year-old Terrell Scott, of Indianapolis, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds . Two vehicles were seen leaving the area during the time of the shooting. One was a white Chevrolet Impala and the other was a white Honda Accord . In the meantime the search for the killer and police can’t say if the shooting was a random act of violence or not. “It’s way too early to speculate on something like that,” said Zionsville police chief Robert Knox . ZIONSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — Zionsville police are investigating after a man was fatally shot Friday morning . Police say multiple shots were fired in the 1300 block of Quail Run Court in Quail Run Apartments around 5:45 a.m. The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Terrell Scott of Indianapolis. No one is in custody, and suspect information has not been released. Police said people nearby heard gunshots . Witnesses reported seeing two vehicles leaving the area, one described as a white Chevrolet Impala and the other described as a white Honda Accord . This is the first deadly shooting in Zionsville since an 82-year-old man was gunned down last September. The town had a total of three homicides in 2016.
