Bristol, R.I. —  Bristol Police Chief Josue Canario announces the arrest of three individuals as a result of a narcotics investigation by Bristol Police over the past several months. During the course of the investigation 36-year-old Kenny Savinon of Bristol was identified as the primary target of the investigation. As a result of the investigation Bristol Police were able to secure an arrest warrant for Savinon. Court authorized search warrants for four properties under the control of Savinon were also obtained. On August 24, 2017 while Savinon was entering his business, Get Liquidated at 15 Gooding Ave, Bristol Police officers approached Savinon and took him into custody without incident. BRISTOL, RI— Police raided four properties in Town on Thursday in connection with the arrest of Kenny Savinon, 36, of Bristol. According to police Chief Josue D. Canario, Savinon, who runs Get Liquidated at 15 Gooding Ave., was the main target of a narcotics investigation that spanned several months. He was taken into custody Thursday on his way into his business. Police searched Get Liquidated and three other addresses after obtaining court- authorized search warrants . K-9 units from the Bristol County Massachusetts Sheriff ’s Office and Middletown Police Department assisted in the search. His first-floor apartment at 26 Bay View Ave ., a second- floor apartment at 145 Franklin St., and a first floor apartment at 34 Central St. were also searched. BRISTOL, R.I. (WPRI) – A months- long narcotics investigation in Bristol has resulted in charges against three people. Bristol police said that their investigation led them to 36-year-old Kenny Savinon of Bristol. Officers arrested Savinon outside his business, Get Liquidated, at 15 Gooding Avenue. Investigators also executed several search warrants at the business, his apartment at 26 Bay View Avenue , an apartment at 34 Central Street, and an apartment at 145 Franklin Street. Police said that they seized two grams of cocaine, 3 grams of heroin, 1 gram of fentanyl, several jars of marijuana, several mature marijuana plants , and suspected steroids. Police estimated the value of the drugs seized at about $10,000. Savinon faces seven criminal charges including possession with intent to deliver, conspiracy and maintaining a common nuisance. On the Road Again: Sunshine Suppers go mobile to reach more people

Neighbors meeting neighbors is the goal of Sunshine Suppers on the Road with meals at Rolling Prairie and the Sun Prairie Fire Department coming during the next few weeks. After hearing about the first Suppers on the Road held at Hamilton Place apartments , Rolling Prairie resident leaders thought it would make sense for their community. A free hot nutritious meal will be served, there will be games for kids, and adults can hang out and talk with other Rolling Prairie residents . The Aug. 30 Sunshine Supper on the Road, at the Sun Prairie Fire Department , is for the entire community to break bread with local firefighters, police and EMS personnel. Bicycle 'outlaw' arrested after Bristol Dragway crash

Kingsport Police Department Aug. 21 — A man was located and arrested on a warrant from an incident in July. That’s when he crashed his motorcycle into a fence on Noble Street and fled the area — leaving behind a female passenger with “serious bodily injury.” Along with fleeing the scene of a crash, he was also jailed on a third offense of driving on a revoked license. — Shortly after 1 a.m., a pedestrian on Broad Street stated that a vehicle had pulled alongside him. With a pistol in hand, the unknown occupant asked “if there were any cops,” then drove away. Police searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.
