Richmond County Sheriff ’s Richard Roundtree and his deputies were out in force Thursday trying to ease concerns of River Glen Apartment after recent violent incidents , as part of “Operation No One Wins”. “Over the last year, it’s been a roller coaster, up and down. Sometimes, we have our good moments. Sometimes we have our bad moments,” said River Glen Apartments resident Michelle Mapp . Mapp has lived at River Glen Apartments for more than a year. Thursday afternoon, the Augusta mother talked with Richmond County Sheriff ’s Office deputies about some of the problems she’s facing at the apartment complex. “About a couple of weeks ago, I had a bullet come above my window and a couple of inches down, that could have been me because it was me and my daughter sitting on the couch,” Mapp said.
