A man was shot while driving on Kecoughtan Road in Hampton Tuesday night , police said. Officers and medics were dispatched to the Monterey Apartments in the 600 block of Lasalle Avenue about 8 p.m. after the victim drove himself there before calling for help, police spokeswoman Cpl . Ashley Jenrette said in a news release. The 31-year-old Hampton man told police he was driving in the 2300 block of Kecoughtan Road when an unknown suspect began firing toward the vehicle. He was struck once during the incident, Jenrette said. He was taken to the hospital with an injury that is not believed to be life-threatening, she said.  Police do not have suspect information to release, and the motive is not known, Jenrette said. Upper Allen Township police are investigating reports Thursday of ongoing vandalism and thefts at Meadowood Apartments on Allendale Road. Police say numerous signs and flowers have been damaged and graffiti was spray-painted on the side of one building. They add gas has been stolen from a resident's car in the same complex. MOUNT HOLLY, NJ (CBS) — Detectives probing a double murder in Burlington County last March have turned to leaders in the Indian community for help in cracking the case. Thirty-eight-year old Sasikala Narra and her 6-year-old son Anish were stabbed to death March 23rd inside their Maple Shade apartment . Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina reached out to the Indian Cultural Center of South Jersey for help in getting people who may know something to say something. Crews and Hoehn were arrested and charged with felony conspiracy to commit kidnapping, police said in a Facebook post. They were being held at the Cass County Jail .
