Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a stove fire in an apartment kitchen on the first floor. Firefighters on arrival reported smoke showing from the front of the building. Interior firefighters reported a small fire primarily contained to the broiler, but with some damage to kitchen cabinets. Firefighters checked for extension to walls and ventilated the units and hallway by 9:07 p.m.. Initially, no reports of any injuries.
