Police take search efforts underground, still no sign of Baby Willow

ORLANDO, Fla. — After three days, Orlando police have yet to find any sign of Baby Willow. Investigators, along with city of Orlando crews searched sewer lines for any sign of the missing infant on Wednesday. Those searches and the reexamination of dumpsters from the Willow Bend Apartment Complex failed to yield any evidence, police said. Homicide and crime scene investigators arrived at the scene, and multiple teams of dogs and searchers canvassed the area, including every dumpster. Oxford University worker, 56, charged with US murder

An Oxford University worker has been charged with murder after a man's body was discovered in an apartment with more than 40 stab wounds . Andrew Warren, 56, a senior treasury assistant at the institution's Somerville College, is accused alongside Professor Wyndham Lathem , 42, of murdering Trenton Cornell -Duranleau. Mother of abandoned newborn girl charged with child neglect

The only remains of the birth of "Baby Willow" were washed away from an apartment complex parking lot Tuesday morning as distraught neighbors looked on. A day earlier Orlando police responded around 3 p.m. to Willow Bend Apartments after someone reported seeing a possible placenta in the parking lot. Homicide and crime- scene investigators determined "that a full term baby had been born and discarded," police said. Officers found the mother, 30-year-old Susan Richardson, on Monday but no baby. She only admitted to giving birth to the girl, according to police. Richardson was taken to the Orange County Jail on an aggravated child neglect charge Tuesday afternoon , police say. Callaway shooting suspect in custody

CALLAWAY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A suspect in Wednesday morning 's Callaway shooting is reportedly in custody. Bay County Sheriff 's Office officials said its investigation indicated the suspect was Jivaro Smith, 29, of Panama City. According to officials, Smith was located by BCSO Field Services , Criminal Investigations , and Special Investigations at Foxwood Apartments and brought in for an interview. Bay County Sheriff 's Office officials said they responded to a call in reference to a shooting Wednesday morning just before 7 a.m. to 6201 Cherry Street in Callaway. Deputies arrived to find the victim shot in the leg. The victim was reportedly taken to a local hospital. BCSO Criminal Investigations responded as well as the Crime Scene Unit to process the scene. RFP Staff ♦ Tonight about 8:10 p.m. shots were heard at Colonial Village Apartments in the 200 block of West “D” Avenue in Salisbury, N.C. The gunshot victim, Joshua Victor Harrison , 32, was hit in the back by a shotgun blast during an attempted robbery by a black assailant with short dreads and a dark hoodie sweatshirt . Harrison initially answered the front door and turning, attempted to run when he saw the robber was armed with a sawed-off shotgun. When the Salisbury Police arrived , they found the Harrison bleeding profusely from a back wound, yet able to respond to questions. They found him a distance from the actual shooting on a porch at 306 West Avenue “D”. Joshua Victor Harrison : Transported initially to Novant Health Rowan Regional Medical Center , Harrsion was evacuated by helicopter to Carolinas Medical Center Northeast in Concord. Suspect in Haverford Twp. killing, Overbrook Park shooting arrested in Georgia

HAVERFORD TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- U.S. Marshals have apprehended the man wanted for a killing in Haverford Township, Delaware County that followed a burst of gunfire in the Overbrook Park section of Philadelphia late last month. Derrick Rollins, 24, was taken into custody Tuesday in Decatur, Georgia. Authorities say he initially attempted to hide from marshals, but eventually surrendered to K9 units after he was spotted by surveillance teams at an apartment complex with a female associate. Rollins has addresses in the 5100 block of Locust Street and the 4000 block of North A Street in Philadelphia. His arrest was based upon information developed by U.S. Marshals in Philadelphia suggesting he had fled to Georgia. Rollins is currently being held in the Dekalb County Jail pending extradition .
