A mother accused of dumping her baby girl in a bush told prosecutors she didn't want to be a mother and doesn't want to see her child.  Sidney Woytasczyk, 21, is charged with child abandonment after abandoning her newborn in a flowerbed near her Houston apartment. Source: Raycom Video ABILENE, TX (KCBD) - A 4-year-old boy has died after suffering serious injuries during a fire at the Warwick Apartments in Abilene on Wednesday. The child, identified as Liam Hardy, died Wednesday night after he was airlifted to Lubbock. The boy's mother, 27-year-old Ashley Hardy, is still at the UMC Burn Center  and is expected to survive. BARCELONA, Spain The Latest on the Spain attacks (all times local): 11:30 p.m. Police in the southern French city of Nimes have arrested a man unlawfully carrying a pistol into a train station, but say he is not linked to the attacks in Barcelona. After an evacuation and police operation at the train station Saturday night , the historic city quickly returned to normal, with police returning to their posts. A national police spokesman said the operation began when a passenger alerted police to a man with a weapon. Police quickly found and arrested him, said the spokesman, who was not authorized to be publicly named. The spokesman said the man has no apparent connection to Thursday's attacks around Barcelona, about 380 kilometers southwest of Nimes. A North Little Rock man fatally shot at a Little Rock apartment complex last month identified his killer in a "dying declaration" to detectives, according to a court affidavit released Thursday . Steven McPherson, 43, reportedly identified Jasper Lamar Singleton in a police photo lineup before he died from his injuries at UAMS Medical Center on July 27. McPherson was shot multiple times in his chest at Big Country Chateau Apartments that night. Authorities searched for Singleton, 19, for weeks before U.S. marshals found and arrested him Wednesday at Rodeway Inn & Suites at 2401 W. 65th St., according to an arrest report. Singleton, who is nicknamed "Fugi," was charged with first-degree murder. He pleaded innocent in the case Thursday morning in Little Rock District Court .
