So I have to say, I’m a little surprised by The Defenders . While the show is an excellent return to form for Marvel's stable of Netflix shows, it's surprisingly light on Marvel Comics mythology . That's not necessarily a bad thing (we don't need easter eggs in every single scene), but given how jam-packed every other season of the Marvel Netflix shows was, I expected a little more.
