Washington Real Estate Investment Trust is developing The Trove, a 401- unit apartment community in the Columbia Pike corridor of Arlington, Va. Two years ago, Washington REIT acquired The Wellington, three buildings constructed in 1961 on a 14-acre site, with a total of 711 apartments.
