ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WKBW) - Fire crews battled a blaze at the Green Lake Apartments in Orchard Park on Monday that forced residents out into the cold. Smoke coming from the apartments on North Lake Drive could be seen for miles. The fire chief says the blaze appears to have started in an attached first-floor garage before spreading up through the building and collapsing the roof. The three-story building is a total loss. No one was hurt. Orchard Park Police were able to alert residents to the fire and evacuate those who were home in the nine- unit apartment building . Some pets perished in the blaze. Several fire companies , including East Aurora and Hamburg, were called in to help fight the fire. There was only one hydrant in front of the apartments and crews had to run multiple lines from South Buffalo Street to bring water to the blaze. Brian Lisik/special to cleveland.com   BRUNSWICK ---   Menacing, Stonybrook Lane: Four men and a woman were arrested for menacing at 5:15 p.m. Aug. 8 after they were seen getting out of a silver Toyota Victim " carrying baseball bats and wearing bandannas over their faces," according to witnesses. The suspects then began screaming and threatening a tenant at Laurel Hill apartments , while pounding on his apartment door. The victim recognized the suspects and the victim's girlfriend said she saw one of the men pull a handgun from a grocery bag. The car was located a short time later and a baseball bat, a bandana and marijuana was found inside. One of the men admitted to going to the apartment to confront the victim "about stolen money," reports said. No guns were found in the car and the suspects all denied having a gun. BARCELONA, Spain (AP) — The Latest on the Spain attacks (all times local): 5:15 a.m. Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has asked people to pray for a young Australian boy who is missing after a vehicle attack on a popular Barcelona promenade that killed 13 people. Turnbull said Saturday that the boy's mother was badly injured and is in a hospital following Friday's attack at the Las Ramblas promenade . Turnbull says the boy's family is searching for him. He did not release the boy's name. Turnbull says: "All of us as parents know the anguish his father is going through, and his whole family is going through, as they rush to seek to find him in Barcelona."
