MONTBELLO, Calif. (FOX 11 / CNS) - The manhunt for an alleged killer came to an end on Friday. Christopher Michael Diaz , who police say is a reputed gang member , was wanted for killing his pregnant wife, Roxanne Acosta, 2 weeks ago. She was 2-months pregnant with a 4th child. Friday afternoon, three officers followed Diaz from an apartment to a Montebello 'Super A' store. Police tried stopping the car, but Diaz ran away. Sheriff Deputies say Diaz ran a block away between two homes on Via Corona. Then they say, he tried scaling a fence and targeted police officers . "The suspect did turn around, point a gun at him, and fire at least one round," said Lt. Derrick Alfred with L.A. County Sheriff's Homicide Unit. Officers shot him, killing Diaz. ZIONSVILLE, Ind. -- Police released the identity of a man killed in a deadly shooting in Zionsville. Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Quail Run Court  at Quail Run Apartments Friday morning around 5:45 a.m. after residents heard shots fired in the area. Chief Robert Knox said officers were on the scene within a minute. Police found the victim, later identified as 30-year-old Terrell Scott, of Indianapolis, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds . Two vehicles were seen leaving the area during the time of the shooting. One was a white Chevrolet Impala and the other was a white Honda Accord . In the meantime the search for the killer and police can’t say if the shooting was a random act of violence or not. “It’s way too early to speculate on something like that,” said Zionsville police chief Robert Knox . A 33-year-old man was shot and killed early Sunday morning in what was believed to be a targeted slaying, the Sun Prairie Police Department said. Around 1:30 a.m., officers headed to the 400 block of South Bird Street for a report of a man being shot in an apartment complex parking lot , according to police. Sun Prairie police spokesman Jon Lothe said a “specific person of interest” in the homicide has been identified. It is the first homicide in the city since 2015. Lothe said several people who were at the scene when the shooting happened have been identified and were being interviewed by police with the help of the Dane County Sheriff ’s Office. He said investigators have received copies of the apartment building’s security camera footage and would be reviewing them. LAWRENCE — A man and woman who live 46 miles away in Mont Vernon, New Hampshire, were among 43 people teams of detectives arrested on Wednesday during another targeted drug suppression sweep throughout the city.  Teams of local detectives, state troopers and federal agents descended on various neighborhoods in Lawrence in the third organized operation of its kind this summer.  Previously, 80 arrests were made in July and August during similar sweeps. BARCELONA, Spain (AP) — The Latest on the Spain attacks (all times local): 5:15 a.m. Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has asked people to pray for a young Australian boy who is missing after a vehicle attack on a popular Barcelona promenade that killed 13 people. Turnbull said Saturday that the boy's mother was badly injured and is in a hospital following Friday's attack at the Las Ramblas promenade . Turnbull says the boy's family is searching for him. He did not release the boy's name. Turnbull says: "All of us as parents know the anguish his father is going through, and his whole family is going through, as they rush to seek to find him in Barcelona."
