CONCORD, NH — This week’s U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force Fugitive of the Week is behind bars, according to Deputy Marshal Jeffrey White . Adam Walter Searles , 28, was arrested on Aug. 24, 2017, on an outstanding arrest warrant issued back in May by the Strafford County Superior Court for bail violations stemming from original charges of burglary, credit card fraud and drug offenses. Searles, who has a number of priors, was featured yesterday and since that time, task force members – including members from the Strafford, Rockingham, Hillsborough and Belknap County Sheriff ’s Offices, Federal Protective Service , along with deputy U.S. Marshals – “developed information indicating that Searles was residing with a known associate on Abbey Lane in Dover,” White stated. MARIETTA, GA -- A Mableton man associated with the Gangster Disciples street gang has been convicted of murder in a 2015 armed robbery at an apartment complex, Cobb County District Attorney Vic Reynolds announced Thursday . Darius Jarrell Dunn , 25, was convicted by a Cobb jury this week, the DA said. Dunn was one of two gunmen involved in the death of Anthony Tavarez at an apartment on Shenandoah Trail. ALEXANDRIA, VA—An 18-year-old Alexandria man faces charges related to an attempted robbery and sexual battery last week. Alexandria Police say the attempted robbery and sexual battery both occurred in the area of Duke Street and North Jordan Street in the West End on Monday, Aug. 14. Around 3:24 p.m., police responded to the attempted robbery on the bike trail near Holmes Run Parkway . The suspect grabbed a woman from behind and demanded money. The victim struggled with the suspect, who then fled. Not long after at at 3:59 p.m., police say the suspect grabbed a woman's buttocks at an apartment building in the 500 block of North Jordan Street . The suspect fled when the victim screamed. Joshua Sprinkle, 18, has been charged with attempted robbery and abduction in the first incident, and sexual battery for the second incident. MARIETTA, GA — Two Marietta men convicted of murdering a woman in a Smyrna apartment have been sentenced to life without parole plus five years in confinement. After a two-week-long trial, a Cobb jury on Friday found Simeon Gashon Moore , 27, and Walter Vernell Milbourne , 31, guilty of murder, aggravated assault, burglary, armed robbery, violation of Georgia controlled substances act , and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony. Moore was also convicted of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer. On Nov. 12, 2014, the defendants and their co-defendant, Kevin Nathanial Robinson , attempted to conduct a drug transaction with Jamie Milton, 29, the boyfriend of victim Jamie Adedra Moore , 24. Robinson left his cell phone in Milton’s vehicle, and the defendants saw Milton drive back into the Mission Galleria Apartments in Smyrna. BRISTOL, RI— Police raided four properties in Town on Thursday in connection with the arrest of Kenny Savinon, 36, of Bristol. According to police Chief Josue D. Canario, Savinon, who runs Get Liquidated at 15 Gooding Ave., was the main target of a narcotics investigation that spanned several months. He was taken into custody Thursday on his way into his business. Police searched Get Liquidated and three other addresses after obtaining court- authorized search warrants . K-9 units from the Bristol County Massachusetts Sheriff ’s Office and Middletown Police Department assisted in the search. HILLSBORO, OR — Two Portland teens were arrested over the past 24 hours on suspicion of attempted murder in Hillsboro last week, according to Hillsboro police spokesman Lt . Henry Reimann. Cristin Octavio Magana -Ponce, 19, was arrested early Friday at his Portland residence with help from the Portland Metro Gang and Crisis Negotiation teams and Portland Special Emergency Reaction Team (SERT). He was lodged at the Washington County Jail on charges of conspiracy to commit two murders.
