Murder Suspect May Be Hiding In Coral Gables

CORAL GABLES, FL — City police were given a photo and description of an alleged Massachusetts murder suspect on Friday who may be hiding in the Coral Gables area . Cornel Bell is believed to be armed and possibly traveling in a stolen dark blue 2005 Ford pickup with Massachusetts plates . The 46-year-old Bell is wanted by Massachusetts State Police in connection with the Aug. 19 slaying of his girlfriend. "We're assisting their agency with whatever resources they need from us because they are a distance away," Officer Kelly Denham of the Coral Gables Police Department told Patch on Friday. "All of our officers have been made aware of the subject. They have his picture. They have the vehicle description and so they are aware of the situation." Bristol Police: Three Arrested After Narcotics Probe

BRISTOL, RI— Police raided four properties in Town on Thursday in connection with the arrest of Kenny Savinon, 36, of Bristol. According to police Chief Josue D. Canario, Savinon, who runs Get Liquidated at 15 Gooding Ave., was the main target of a narcotics investigation that spanned several months. He was taken into custody Thursday on his way into his business. Police searched Get Liquidated and three other addresses after obtaining court- authorized search warrants . K-9 units from the Bristol County Massachusetts Sheriff ’s Office and Middletown Police Department assisted in the search. His first-floor apartment at 26 Bay View Ave ., a second- floor apartment at 145 Franklin St., and a first floor apartment at 34 Central St. were also searched. Street Gangster Convicted In Deadly Armed Robbery In Cobb

MARIETTA, GA -- A Mableton man associated with the Gangster Disciples street gang has been convicted of murder in a 2015 armed robbery at an apartment complex, Cobb County District Attorney Vic Reynolds announced Thursday . Darius Jarrell Dunn , 25, was convicted by a Cobb jury this week, the DA said. Dunn was one of two gunmen involved in the death of Anthony Tavarez at an apartment on Shenandoah Trail. Alleged Prowler At Rohnert Park Apartment Complex Arrested With Bag Of Stolen Items: Cops

ROHNERT PARK, CA -- Rohnert Park public safety officers arrested a man on suspicion of prowling at an apartment complex Wednesday morning . A maintenance worker said a man with long hair who was wearing a red hat and two other males were acting erratically around 9:30 a.m. The worker said the men hid a bag next to one of the apartment buildings behind a fence that enclosed utilities. Officers located the bag containing holiday decorations, which they believe were stolen. Officers contacted Christian Slayback , 25, of Rohnert Park, in the Windsong apartment complex at 8201 Camino Colegio. Slayback was wearing a red hat and said he was helping a friend find property that was stolen from her, according to officials from the Department of Public Safety. Slayback said he did not live in the complex, and witnesses who talked to him said he could not explain why he was there.
