Another Gunshot Victim Located After Monday’s Shooting in Central

Local News LUBBOCK, TX - Lubbock Police said that another gunshot victim came forward on Tuesday related to a shooting incident on Monday afternoon. At about 2:30 Monday afternoon, the Lubbock Police Department received a call about gunshots in the area of 2100 Avenue O.  An officer was nearby and heard another gunshot near 24th Place and Avenue N. The officer found a 35-year-old woman who had been shot in the arm.  Police said she had “moderate injuries.” Police said Abrean Watkins , 22, was arrested on an unrelated charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. Police said, “On Tuesday at approximately 1:20 p.m., nearly 24 hours after the original call of shots fired, the Lubbock Police Department received a call that another gunshot victim had just arrived at the hospital.” “The male victim had moderate injuries on his hand,” police said. Two arrested after newborn found alive where pregnant Fargo woman vanished

The discovery of the infant, Fargo police said, was followed by the arrest of Brooke Lynn Crews , 38, and William Henry Hoehn , 32, who both lived in the same apartment building as the missing woman , Savanna LaFontaine-Greywind. Crews and Hoehn were arrested and charged with felony conspiracy to commit kidnapping, police said in a Facebook post. They were being held at the Cass County Jail . LaFontaine-Greywind went missing from the apartment building Saturday afternoon . Her whereabouts remained unknown late Thursday , police said. At least six investigators were seen donning hazmat suits Thursday night outside the apartment building at 2825 9th St. N., where LaFontaine-Greywind lives with her parents in a basement unit. Flagstaff police say Charles Alderson and Leah Alderson both died at a hospital following the single-vehicle crash about 10:30 a.m. Friday. Both were 61 years old. Police say the cause of the accident is currently under investigation, but it may be related to a medical episode. They say Charles Alderson was driving the car when it left the roadway and struck a drainage culvert. Amber Alert: Boy Found; Father Killed By Police

SANTA MARIA, CA — A man who abducted his 9-year-old son after allegedly shooting and killing the child's mother, prompting an Amber Alert, was killed Tuesday in an officer-involved shooting in Tarzana and the child was found safe. The California Highway Patrol reported just after 8 p.m. that the Amber Alert was cancelled. It had been in effect in Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties The announcement that Daniel Morozov was found safe came within 90 minutes of an officer-involved shooting about 6:45 p.m. in the 5500 block of Lindley Avenue near Killion Street that left the boy's father, 48-year-old Konstantin Morozov, dead, according to the Los Angeles Police Department . The father brought the boy to a friend's apartment in that neighborhood and police located them with a tip, said LAPD Deputy Chief Justin Eisenberg . Police are asking for the public’s help in finding an 83-year-old Rancho Cucamonga woman who hasn’t been heard from since Friday. Mary Curwick, 83, was last heard from on May 12, 2017. (Credit: Rancho Cucamonga Police Department ) Mary Curwick was reported missing on Tuesday after a neighbor told police the door to her apartment, located in the 9800 block of 19th Street, was left open and she had not been seen in a couple days, the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department said in a released statement. Family members last spoke to Curwick on Friday. Detectives said on Sunday surveillance video from Mesa Drive Fuels in Blythe shows Curwick using her debit card to try and purchase fuel at about 12:35 p.m. The gas station attendant told police Curwick had trouble swiping her card so they gave her $15 of fuel. Bristol, R.I. —  Bristol Police Chief Josue Canario announces the arrest of three individuals as a result of a narcotics investigation by Bristol Police over the past several months. During the course of the investigation 36-year-old Kenny Savinon of Bristol was identified as the primary target of the investigation. As a result of the investigation Bristol Police were able to secure an arrest warrant for Savinon. Court authorized search warrants for four properties under the control of Savinon were also obtained. On August 24, 2017 while Savinon was entering his business, Get Liquidated at 15 Gooding Ave, Bristol Police officers approached Savinon and took him into custody without incident.
