Two people shot at Towne Square apartments in north Tulsa | Crimewatch

Two people were shot late Thursday at a north Tulsa apartment complex, but one of the injured people had not been found early Friday.
Police said a woman was shot once in each leg at the Towne Square apartments in the 1600 block of East Young Street and was taken to a hospital with injuries that weren't considered life-threatening.
Capt. Eric Nelson said officers responding to a report of a shooting about 11 p.m. found the wounded woman in an apartment. Although bleeding heavily, she was conscious and talking to officers.
Police were told another person also had been shot, but that person was not found. That person reportedly jumped into a random person's car in the parking lot and told the driver to drive. The driver then crashed the car into a tree.
The driver apparently was not hurt, and the man who was shot apparently got out of the car and ran back toward the complex. Police followed a blood trail but lost it in the grass.
Nelson said early Friday that victim had not yet shown up at a hospital.
No information about the shooter or shooters or a motive was available.
Several people witnessed what happened, but they aren't being cooperative with investigators, police said.
