Officer finds 4 -year-old child unattended in parked car: Rocky River Police Blotter
ROCKY RIVER, Ohio - Disturbance: An apartment resident reported hearing slamming and banging from a neighbor's apartment Aug. 16. Officers found the neighbor playing video games. He was advised of the complaint.
Theft, Lake Road: On Aug. 16 a store employee arrived at work and found someone broke into the store overnight and stole cigarettes and cash.
Theft, Detroit Road: On Aug. 16 A bicycle was reported stolen from the Rocky River High School two days earlier. The bicycle was unlocked at the time of the theft.
Child endangering, Center Ridge Road: An officer on patrol found a four-year-old child unattended in a car parked in a shopping center parking lot. The officer waited about 15 minutes before a parent arrived. The parent was cited for child endangering.
Theft, Detroit Road: On Aug. 19 a grocery store employee reported a person left the store without paying for several steaks and crab legs. The person was caught on Detroit Road in Lakewood and arrested.
