10/19/2015 UPDATE: NEW MANAGEMENT I've changed the one start rating to two. Give new management time to correct some of the things at cielo vista, I think that's only fair. Although; It's been three months since the new management & they've made some cosmetic changes (new blinds), & repaired a bunch of lights that have been broken for months. Trash is now being looked after better & Snow is being moved faster. Laundry areas have yet to be addressed, & the screens have not been replaced on windows. There is still no online pay option , I couldn't see enough changes fast enough that could sway me to renew my lease. I've been frustrated since day one with the poor management of this property. Work orders for repairs are never done in a timely matter, if they get done at all you have to call repeatedly. The laundry facilities are always filthy. The only improvements in two years that I've been there have been cosmetic (new coat of paint) to the

Prosecutors: No charges after 3-year-old boy fatally shot

Updated 5:23 am, Thursday, August 24, 2017 YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — Prosecutors say no charges will be brought after a 3-year-old boy was fatally shot last year by a 10-year-old boy at an apartment complex in southeastern Michigan. The Ann Arbor News reports Washtenaw County prosecutors determined they couldn't establish intent for charges against the boy who shot Jamari L. Moore in Ypsilanti Township. Investigators earlier described the Nov. 13 shooting as an accident. The newspaper says the gun's owner also won't face charges. Prosecutors determined they couldn't prove gross negligence for a charge of involuntary manslaughter. Police found the child shot after being called to Country Meadows Apartments , where Jamari was staying at the apartment of his mother's boyfriend. Documents show the 10-year-old likely found the loaded handgun on a shelf in a bedroom where the boys were watching TV. ___ Information from: The Ann Arbor News, http://www.mlive.com

A beautiful and cosy apartment in Mumbai

We absolutely love the matching sofa, wall and carpet in bold black and white stripes. Matching is so in style right now. The bright red lamp and the blanket add a vibrant splash of colour to the room, while the old coffee table tray and ornaments enhance the retro feel. If you think it's a bit too modern or young for your style, just wait and see how you feel when you see the rest of the room.

12-Year-Old Boy Arrested After Fist Fight, Bat Attack In Orion Township « CBS Detroit

ORION TWP. (WWJ) – A violent incident involving two Oakland County boys landed one in the hospital and the other in custody. The Oakland County Sheriff ’s Office says several residents called 911 at around 10 p.m. Monday to report a fight between a 12-year-old and a 14-year old at the Oak Forest Apartments on Casemer Road in Orion Township . According to witnesses, the younger boy had approached the older boy and provoked a fist fight. After punches were exchanged, the 12-year-old allegedly armed himself with a baseball bat. According to investigators, as the older boy tried to run away, the 12-year-old  struck him in the knee with the bat. A witness was able to grab the bat, preventing any further injury to the victim. He was treated by EMS at the scene and then taken to a local hospital to be checked out. The 12-year old was arrested and lodged at Oakland County Children ’s Village where he awaits an intake hearing in Juvenile Court. It’s unclear at this time what sparked the fig

Favorite Fall Decor Ideas

Like it or not, fall is fast approaching. In fact, a week from today is September 1. To unofficially kick off fall here on IBC, I thought we’d take a look back at some of my favorite fall home decor ideas . Whether you’re ready for a change of seasons right about now or want to hold on to summer a while longer, I hope you find some seasonal inspiration. Quick Disclaimer : Did you know that many of us bloggers have to create content a month or more in advance so that search engines like Google and social media platforms such as Facebook recognize our work as “relevant.” I won’t bore you with the details, but I ask for your kindness toward me and other bloggers who seem to share things a bit early. In posting the ideas early, we also want to give you enough time to actually use these ideas this season. I hope that makes sense. Beyond bloggers, I hope you’ll also be kind to folks celebrating whatever season they want to celebrate. If it makes you happy and doesn’t hurt anyone, I say go

TTUHSC students enjoying their experience in Odessa

Growing up, Cody Clapp never wanted to be the classic astronaut or monster truck driver . Clapp’s go-to answer was a cardio-thoracic surgeon. Now he could be on his way as a third- year medical student at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine at the Permian Basin. Clapp, of Dennison, is one of a class of 21 welcomed to the Permian Basin during a July Odessa Chamber of Commerce reception. The Odessa American also spoke to his peers Elsa Parra from San Antonio, Victoria Phan of Dallas and David Stamps of Phoenix. “I was kind of a weird kid,” Clapp said. “I had a severe illness when I was 9. I was hospitalized for a month. Just interacting with doctors in the health care system there it just confirmed that was exactly what I wanted to do.” Clapp said he had a severe case of pneumonia that progressed into empyema. The Healthline website said empyema is a condition where “pus gathers in the area between the lungs and the inner surface of the chest wall.” He wa

The day the Royals returned to London for Diana's funeral

They were the seven days that shocked the world, from the death of Princess Diana in Paris to her funeral at Westminster Abbey.  In this, the fifth part of our poignant series to mark the 20th anniversary, JONATHAN MAYO reconstructs those momentous events as they happened though the eyes of Royal Family members , politicians, the Princess’s family, and a grief-stricken public... 9am, Friday, September 5 At Althorp, the Spencer family seat , a temporary pontoon bridge to an island in the middle of a lake is being built by the Army. It is on this island that tomorrow Diana, Princess of Wales will be buried. In Great Yarmouth, sticks of rock with the message ‘Diana RIP’ are being taken off the shelves after complaints that they are disrespectful. Dickie Arbiter, the Queen’s Press secretary, is once more standing in front of Diana’s coffin in the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace. When he was here on Wednesday, he felt angry with the Princess for not wearing a seatbelt. Today he has onl
