IMPD investigates drive-by shooting on city’s northwest side, teen seriously injured | CBS 4 - Indianapolis News, Weather, Traffic and Sports

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – A teen was seriously wounded after being shot multiple times inside of a vehicle late Sunday night at Heather Ridge Apartments on the city’s northwest side.

Police responded to the scene of the shooting in the 3300 block of Heather Ridge Drive shortly after 11:30 p.m.

Three teens, one 16-year-old and two 18-year-olds, were sitting in a car when someone drove up and shot at them multiple times, according to IMPD. The shooter or shooters then fled the scene.

An 18-year-old in sitting in the front passenger seat was shot in the torso and the leg. He was transported to Eskenazi Hospital in serious condition.

The other two males were not shot or wounded. There is no suspect information at this time.
