Greenhaven Apartments - Apartments - 6330 Havenside Dr, The Pocket-Greenhaven, Sacramento, CA - Phone Number

I am only writing this review based on the customer service I have received so far from Greenhaven apartments. My boyfriend and myself currently live in Los Angeles and are trying to relocate to the Sacramento area ASAP. It has been very hard for us to apply for apartments and put down deposits in person due to the obvious fact we live 6hours away lol. But Michelle from Greenhaven apartments has made this process so easy for us. Whenever I call the office to provide more information or receive updates I REFUSE to talk to anyone else but Michelle, she has been amazing and very patient with us. We are currently on the waitlist for Greenhaven and I hope and Pray something becomes available soon, because I would love to live in these wonderful apartments whose office provides great service.

This place sucks. No soda machine. Rent is way to high, nobody uses the pool, people steal your parking spots, the laundry machine was vandalized, management is poor, landlord promises things and then doesn't fix them for months, the tenants are loud and never leave their apartments 24/7. In the front it looks nice, but behind its shady tenement living right next to Quay street and South town homes you'd never know. Guess that's what you get for pocket in Sacramento. Seriously though, I expect better, crazy.

This property gave me such a bad experience. I really wanted to like this place but this property is managed by unbelievably irresponsible management company. I have been looking for an apartment in Sacramento. I live in Los Angeles now and am moving to Sacramento in October. You can probably imagine that finding apartment from 400 miles away is not a piece of cake. Anyhow, I saw the ad on craigslist. Rent was reasonable for two bedroom and area seemed pretty nice. So I called and made an appointment to view the property. Initially, I was going to come by early September (I am writing this review late August) but as I liked the pics they posted, I decided to drive up north just to view this apartment in the same week I initially called. I called the office again, asked "TAMMY" who answered the phone if they are open for the weekend. She said yes. So i changed my September appointment to August. She sent me confirmation email with pictures of apartment, maps and what to bring along, which were two money orders since they think I would love the place. Okay, so remember. They emailed me and told me to bring money orders. I printed out all paperworks. Pay stubs. Employment verification. and of course, I got two money orders in case I want to turn in application. I WAS VERY EXCITED. On Saturday morning, I woke up early, packed my lunch and took off from LA. It took about seven hours to get there. I got there on time and went to the rental office. I told the guy at office that I had an appointment at 3 o'clock on that day to tour. Surprisingly, he told me there was no unit to show, no appointment was scheduled on that day.. and he told me that I can view the "outside of the property." I was like wth he was talking about??? I made an appointment and the woman, TAMMY confirmed. But the guy said I CANNOT view inside of the apartment. well excuse the hell out of me!!? Who would drive 400 miles to view exterior of the apartment??? Funny thing is, the apartment is not gated, so if you want to view the exterior, anybody can just walk through the apartment complex. It was a pure joke. Seriously, if those property management company call center gals really think people submit application just for viewing outside of that run-down looking apartment, they should think harder. And if they really think someone would drive 400 miles just to view outside of the apartment, they need to check themselves with specialist. I emailed them about not being able to view the property even I made an appointment. Of course, no response. No phone call to apologize. I copy&paste the confirmation email. You will be a judge if I shouldn't have expected to see "the room." =============== Hello , This email is to confirm your appointment at Southwood Townhomes and Greenhaven Apartments. I strongly dislike and would not recommend this property to anybody thanks to poor management company!!

These apartments are beautiful on the inside initially I didn't care for the outside , but walking through the door made up for that. They are a very small complex of 27 units in a very nice neighborhood. The management team are so sweet I've never had any issues with them. So why the two stars? The walls are ridiculously thin & I wish that I would have paid attention to this before signing my lease because I am miserable in my beautiful apartment . I can hear my neighbors conversations even when they aren't yelling . Which to be honest wouldn't bother me if my upstairs neighbor had a little consideration for me. They run constantly throughout the day to the point I thought maybe they were exercising or something and stomp around anytime I'm home. I've complained maybe 6-7 times no changes . This not only goes on durning the day , but anytime from 10 - 3 at night. I lived in apartments before so I know naturally the walls are thin , but this is getting to be unbearable. :(
