Pomsky dog stolen from Ypsilanti Township apartment, police say

YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, MI - A dog was stolen from an Ypsilanti Township apartment during a home invasion, police say.

At 3:25 a.m. Aug. 18, Washtenaw County Sheriff's deputies responded to a unit in the Aspen Chase apartments in the 2000 block of International Drive off Golfside Road for a report of a home invasion.

Between 11 p.m. Aug. 17 and 2 a.m. Aug. 18, a suspect or suspects entered the home through the unlocked front door.

They took the resident's white Pomeranian Husky dog and fled through the same door, according to the sheriff's office.

No suspect information is available.

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
