Man found dead in Woodbridge apartment after fire investigation - Story

WOODBRIDGE, Va. - A man was found dead inside his Woodbridge apartment after emergency crews responded for a fire investigation.

The fire happened around 11:30 p.m. on Monday at an apartment in the 3500 block of Sherbrooke Circle.

During a search of the apartment, crews found an unconscious adult male. The man was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of his death is unknown at this time. The investigation is still continuing.

There’s a big demand for more affordable housing in Charlotte, where rents and home prices have shot up much faster than wages over the past few years.
