Police say a man was robbed while replacing the carpet in a Tulsa apartment.

According to reports, police responded to an armed robbery at the Heatherstone Apartments at 9716 East 33rd Street just before 1:00 Monday afternoon.

They said the victim was replacing the carpet in one of the units. They said the door was open when two men entered and found the victim sweeping inside a bedroom.

Reports say one of the robbers pointed a gun at the victim and told him to turn around and face the wall, then, they reached into his pockets but didn't find anything.

The victim told police they eventually found his Galaxy cell phone and took it. He said they also went through his work van and took the keys that were still in the ignition.

One of the suspects is described as a white male around 6-feet-tall and thin in his late teens. Police said he was wearing a white t-shirt, white shoes, sunglasses and a black handkerchief over his face.

The only description for the second robber is that he wore a similar handkerchief over his face.

Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
