Concord Fire Sent To Rumford Street

CONCORD, NH — Concord Fire and Rescue teams were sent to a multi-family unit on Rumford Street for a report of smoke coming from an apartment this afternoon, according to alerts online. NH Fire Alarm reported that smoke was reportedly seen from an apartment when firefighters arrived to 74 Rumford St., according to the post on Twitter at around 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 15, 2017. Firefighters were seen at the scene and officials from Concord Housing Authority were also speaking to firefighters, according to scanner chatter.

Concord Fire Chief Dan Andrus reported that the fire was caused by an oven in one of the apartments.
