Third Annual Haunted House at Vaseo Apartments, Phoenix | Events

What/Why:

Back by popular demand, Vaseo Apartments -- the largest apartment community in the Southwest -- is proud to announce its third annual "Haunted House." Located at 7th Street and Greenway Road in North Phoenix, Vaseo invites Phoenix residents of all ages to kick off their Halloween celebrations at the interactive event, which is sure to be "spook-tacular," with the likes of zombies, clowns and more frightening features for the thrill-seeker. The blood-curdling success of last year's haunting, which drew more than 3,000 fearless merry-makers in two nights, has inspired the community to extend this year's event to run for four nights this October.

As one patron explains, "This 'Haunted House' rivals any that I have ever been to in the valley and is just a fraction of the cost."

Vaseo's haunted experience will also feature a wide array of food, music, and activities for all to enjoy, such as: childrens' costume contests, face painting, a bounce house, and "scary-oke." Raffles will be held each night with up to $2,000 worth of prizes awarded!

Tickets for the event can be purchased at the door for $2 per person, per entry. All proceeds will benefit the local Washington Elementary School District, as well as North Canyon High School, for their continued support of our community.

He pleaded guilty to murder late last year, now the case of a maintenance worker who killed a Blinn student is back in court. The parents of 20-year-old Jenna Verhaalen are suing the Bryan apartment complex where she was killed. “Blacklist” star Megan Boone lists West Village apartment for $2.4M

(credit: BKR Partners) Boone bought the apartment in 2014 for $1.85 million. According to the listing, with Brian Kanarek of BKR Partners, the 837-square-foot unit has one bedroom and one bathroom. It overlooks tiny Abingdon Square Park, and has a large fireplace, soundproof windows, high ceilings, a walk-in closet and access to the communal landscaped roof terrace . Charlotte affordable housing forum raises possible solutions

There’s a big demand for more affordable housing in Charlotte, where rents and home prices have shot up much faster than wages over the past few years. Many of the apartments being built now target more affluent renters, waitlists for housing vouchers are long and starter homes are snapped up almost immediately. So why aren’t developers building more affordable housing ?
