Police: 2 men dead in 'cold, calculated' shooting in Alabama

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) -- Police in Alabama are investigating after two men were found shot to death inside a home.Local news outlets report the Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the men, found early Wednesday, as 20-year-old DeJohn Lewis Williams and 22-year-old Dante Lanier Hall. Williams lived in the home where the killings took place. Birmingham police Lt. Sean Edwards says police responded around 1 a.m. Wednesday to a home in Birmingham's Powderly community after neighbors reported hearing gunshots. Officers found Williams and Hall each dead from a single gunshot wound. Edwards says there was a small amount of drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the home. He called the incident a "cold and calculated shooting." The investigation is ongoing.
