Lansing fire investigators are are looking into an early morning fire inside the office of a local apartment complex . Just after 4 a.m., Lansing Firefighters were called to Edgewood Villas Apartments on Edgewood Boulevard. The fire was confined to an office area at the complex. The fire was quickly detected and put out. The Lansing Fire Department says they are investigating the cause of the fire.

A Beaufort man was assaulted and robbed while at his Battery Creek Road mailbox Wednesday afternoon , according to police. While checking his Forest Park Apartments mailbox between about 12:15 p.m. and 12:30 p.m., the victim felt what he thought was a handgun held to the back of his head, according to a Beaufort Police Department news release . One of two suspects told the man to “give it up,” but the victim said he didn’t have anything. The victim was hit in the back of the head with the object he believed to be a handgun and the pair took an undisclosed amount of cash from the man before leaving, according to the release. The man was treated at Beaufort Memorial Hospital for his injury. The subjects are described as two African-American men in their 20s who were both about 5-foot-7 and between 150 and 160 pounds, according to police. BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) -- Police in Alabama are investigating after two men were found shot to death inside a home. Local news outlets report the Jefferson County Coroner 's Office identified the men, found early Wednesday , as 20-year-old DeJohn Lewis Williams and 22-year-old Dante Lanier Hall . Williams lived in the home where the killings took place. Birmingham police Lt . Sean Edwards says police responded around 1 a.m. Wednesday to a home in Birmingham's Powderly community after neighbors reported hearing gunshots . Officers found Williams and Hall each dead from a single gunshot wound . Edwards says there was a small amount of drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the home. He called the incident a "cold and calculated shooting." The investigation is ongoing.

Crusader Mill Rogue Studios is relocating from Crusader Mill to Varna Street, with co- director Martin Nash hailing its new Manchester home as "fantastic and the perfect space to enable our artists to carry on doing what they do best". Home to nearly 100 artists from all over the UK and beyond, Rogue's artists will this month move from their existing building near Piccadilly station to an old school in east Manchester.
