According to the latest Lincoln Common update , excavation and work on the earth- retention system continues this week. A pedestrian canopy above the Fullerton Avenue sidewalk to the north also will be erected. With the foundation for the south tower's construction crane having been poured last week, the crane will be installed Wednesday through Friday. That will require Lincoln Avenue be closed all three days for about a half block from the three-way intersection with Orchard Street and Belden Avenue and Orchard Street to the parking garage at 2316 N.
