PHOENIX - Nearly 200 residents at the Mirabella Apartment complex in Phoenix have been without water for days. That is until late Thursday night when Phoenix Fire Department spokesperson Benjamin Santillan told ABC15 the city agreed to turn the water back on for a week. The water company says the complex near the I-17 and Camelback owes them about $50,000 dollars, and until the bill is paid, the residents are stuck in the middle. "I think this is crazy. Everyone is very emotional, we don't know when this will end or if we'll have to go without water every day," said Crystal Medina who called ABC15 for help. A fire broke out at a west Edmonton apartment complex Thursday morning in the Callingwood area, where crews arrived  to find some residents on their balconies. Edmonton Fire Rescue said 40 firefighters were called to the Westridge Estates B apartment complex at 7611-172 St. just after 8 a.m. and arrived on scene within five minutes.The fire began in a third floor suite and quickly spread. Flames could be seen shooting from the roof of the four- storey apartment building , which is owned by Boardwalk rentals.Third-floor- resident Kerry Upright said she woke up to fire alarms going off.“I heard screaming outside on the balcony,” she told Global News .“I went to the balcony and seen a guy almost jump off the balcony.” Story continues below She said she also saw smoke coming from his suite. Source: Live 5 GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - A fire at a Goose Creek apartment is being blamed on a ventilation hood over a stove. Firefighters responded to the Hallmark at Timberlake apartment complex . Goose Creek Fire Chief Steve Chapman said it took about five minutes to extinguish a small fire in the kitchen of one unit. The resident of the second-floor apartment where the fire began was not home at the time. The unit sustained minimal smoke and fire damage, but both it and the apartment below sustained water damage , Chapman said. At noon, maintenance crews were working to pump out water from both apartments and had set up fans to help dry everything out. No injuries were reported.
