Market St., to get on the ground Tuesday as they forced a third worker into the back room of the store in a 9:20 p.m. robbery. The robbers were both wearing pantyhouse-type masks, black pants and black T-shirts. One told the two employees on the floor that they knew where they lived and would kill them if they called police. Police later used a canine to track the suspects and found a mask believed to have been used by the robbers behind a house on Haymaker Avenue Northwest . The employee forced into the back room said one of the robbers ordered her to open the safe, and they took an undisclosed amount of money from the safe and from a register and fled. Jeremy Lett, 28, was shot by TPD officer David Stith , who was responding to reports of a burglary at the Shadow Ridge Apartments on West Tharpe Street around 8 p.m. Wednesday. After Stith spotted and confronted a man matching the burglary suspect's description, the two men were involved in a physical altercation during which Stith shot Lett , according to TPD spokesman David Northway . The burglary was reported at the complex, but Northway did not know which apartment. Stith, who was not injured, has been placed on administrative leave with pay following the incident, which is protocol when an officer fires his weapon in the line of duty. Two people were shot late Thursday at a north Tulsa apartment complex , but one of the injured people had not been found early Friday . Police said a woman was shot once in each leg at the Towne Square apartments in the 1600 block of East Young Street and was taken to a hospital with injuries that weren't considered life-threatening. Capt. Eric Nelson said officers responding to a report of a shooting about 11 p.m. found the wounded woman in an apartment. Although bleeding heavily, she was conscious and talking to officers. Police were told another person also had been shot, but that person was not found. That person reportedly jumped into a random person's car in the parking lot and told the driver to drive. The driver then crashed the car into a tree. The driver apparently was not hurt, and the man who was shot apparently got out of the car and ran back toward the complex. FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) A woman was taken to the hospital with non- life threatening injuries after being shot in the leg early Sunday morning . Officers were called to the 2400 block of Point West Drive , in West Wind Apartments , just before 5:00 a.m. Sunday after a woman ran out of an apartment yelling that she had been shot. Police at the scene told NewsChannel 15 the first responding officers found several people around the apartment building where the incident took place. Initial reports to officers suggested someone knocked on the door and began firing at people inside when it was opened. Local News LUBBOCK, TX - Lubbock Police said that another gunshot victim came forward on Tuesday related to a shooting incident on Monday afternoon. At about 2:30 Monday afternoon, the Lubbock Police Department received a call about gunshots in the area of 2100 Avenue O.  An officer was nearby and heard another gunshot near 24th Place and Avenue N. The officer found a 35-year-old woman who had been shot in the arm.  Police said she had “moderate injuries.” Police said Abrean Watkins , 22, was arrested on an unrelated charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. MURRIETA, CA — A Temecula woman was arrested Tuesday night for suspicion of driving under the influence after reportedly plowing into a Murrieta apartment complex and creating havoc for the building's residents, according to police. The Murrieta Police Department was called at 8:49 p.m. to the report of a vehicle that crashed into the housing unit near Murrieta Hot Springs Road and Calle Del Lago . Responding officers, along with crews from Murrieta Fire and Rescue, found the woman trapped inside her white, four-door vehicle that was three feet off the ground and wedged into the corner of the building, police said. The driver, Nichole Winters, 41 of Temecula, was extricated from the sedan and determined by officers to be under the influence of alcohol, the agency said. A 43-year-old Lubbock woman was indicted Tuesday, accused of helping her 26-year-old husband kill himself last month. Nicole Goin is charged with a state jail felony count of aiding suicide , which carries a punishment of six months to two years in a state jail. Goin reportedly told a Lubbock police detective she provided the prescription pills her husband, Matthew Goin, took the night he killed himself, according to an arrest warrant released Aug . 1. Lubbock police responded to a July 26 check welfare call at a residence in the University Club Apartments at 5540 19th St. Matthew Goin’s mother told a dispatcher her daughter-in-law told her Goin had taken several pills and was unresponsive. TEMPE, AZ - A woman was able to escape an attack by her ex-boyfriend and the Tempe apartment he set on fire. Tempe police report that on August 19 they received a call from a resident of an apartment complex, near McClintock and University drives. When police arrived, they smelled smoke, heard a fire alarm and a woman screaming as she escaped an apartment unit engulfed in flames. The woman told police that her ex-boyfriend, 38-year-old Micheo Deangelo Cooper came home for the first time after she broke off their relationship two days prior. After a long argument, Cooper reportedly broke into her bedroom breaking the door and allegedly shoving her against a wall. Cooper allegedly threatened to kill her and burn her belongings while flicking a red lighter on and off. A father in Florida is being held without bond after allegedly setting an apartment on fire with his three children inside before escaping through a window, authorities say. Velmando Jahvon Williams , 22, remains jailed at the Palm Beach County Jail on three counts each of attempted homicide and false imprisonment, as well as first-degree arson and battery charges, jail records show . Williams set the apartment on fire Friday during an argument with the children’s mother at Stonybrook Apartments in Riviera Beach, she told WPTV. “I’m trying to get over it, but I can’t,” the children’s mother, Tranice Smith, told the station. “I have no words for him. None.” Williams held Smith down by her shirt prior to setting the fire, but she was able to break free by ripping her shirt off during the scuffle, according to a police report obtained by the Palm Beach Post .
