Kayin Sato Courtesy Photo OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, MI – A 34-year-old man fell from a third-story balcony and died Tuesday night at Canterbury House Apartments off Drake Road after a railing apparently collapsed , according to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff ’s Office. A neighbor said she removed a section of railing from the balcony to Kayin Sato's apartment that had fallen on him after he landed on concrete outside her apartment. "It looks like the rail collapsed," Undersheriff Pali Matyas said. “We’re still looking into it, but at this point there’s no foul play suspected ." A woman who lives on the ground level of the apartment building was one of the first to respond when Sato fell from the third-floor balcony at about 8 p.m. Tuesday.
