A judge ordered today the forfeiture of a $50, 000 cash bond posted by a defendant who failed to appear for a February pre-trial hearing and has been missing since. Abdirhman A. Noor, 24, of Aberdeen faces two counts of felony attempted murder and two counts of aggravated assault. He missed two court hearings in February. Brown County State 's Attorney Chris White asked that the bond forfeited . Noor was released on specific conditions — that he have no further violations of the law and that he maintain contact with his attorney, William Gerdes. In March, Gerdes acknowledged that Noor failed to stay in contact, White said. Noor posted the $50,000 on Oct. 16, 2016. White said the bond form Noor signed indicates the money could be lost for not showing up for court, leaving the area without permission or not staying in contact with his attorney. HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – A Detroit man was sentenced  to 17 and a half years in federal prison for his role in a heroin conspiracy, announced United States Attorney Carol Casto . Mark Steven Bush , Jr., 30, of Detroit, previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute 100 grams or more of heroin.  Between November 2014 and June 8, 2016, Bush led a conspiracy with other individuals who either sold heroin for him, rented and purchased cars in their name for him, stored heroin and guns for him, or transferred proceeds of drug trafficking for him. During the conspiracy, those selling drugs for Bush would receive heroin on consignment or “front.” Bush would later receive proceeds from the sales. Bush enlisted the aid of others who permitted Bush to title cars in their names in exchange for payments of heroin.
