Two people were taken to the hospital from an apartment where a fire broke out this morning in Lower Paxton Township . The fire was reported around 6:15 a.m. at 261 N. Arlington Ave. in Stone Bridge Apartments off Colonial Road. Thurston Henry, who lives in the apartment above where the fire is believed to have started, said he was on his way to the gym when he discovered the fire. "I opened the front door and all this smoke hit me," Henry said. "I started knocking on doors to get people out." "That smoke was heavy - it made my eyes water," Henry said. He saw firefighters carry a man and woman out of the apartment below him, who Henry said was a mother and son. Lt. Ron Gramigni of Lower Paxton Township police said two people were taken to the hospital, and the fire marshal is investigating.
