The story of Taylor Sheridan — the Oscar-nominated screenwriter behind Sicario , Hell or High Water , and Wind River — is an inspiring one, especially for those screenwriters that are getting somewhat long in the tooth as they continue the struggle to break through.   Sheridan wrote his very first script when he was 40 years old. Sicario , written on spec, was then put into a drawer to write what he felt would be an easier script to sell. That script was the Oscar-nominated Hell or High Water .  Formerly known as Comancheria , this spec would be Sheridan’s first sale. It was also one of the 2012 Black List Scripts . The sale of Sicario soon followed and would then go on to be the first of the two to make it to the big screen. STORRS, CT — Massive construction projects on the main University of Connecticut campus mean students returning to campus this week will be facing a move-in weekend like never before. Some students who arranged early move -in are already on campus, but the bulk of the 12,400 who live in Storrs residence halls will be descending on the campus beginning at 7 a.m. Friday. Freshmen are up first Friday, followed by upperclassmen and transfer students over the weekend. The biggest piece of advice for far from administrators for Friday has been to go old school while driving to the new school. That means plugging the dorm addresses into GPS units is essentially useless because of North Campus closures and traffic restrictions along North Eagleville Road from Route 195 and its side streets . CONCORD, NH — This week’s U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force Fugitive of the Week is behind bars, according to Deputy Marshal Jeffrey White . Adam Walter Searles , 28, was arrested on Aug. 24, 2017, on an outstanding arrest warrant issued back in May by the Strafford County Superior Court for bail violations stemming from original charges of burglary, credit card fraud and drug offenses. Searles, who has a number of priors, was featured yesterday and since that time, task force members – including members from the Strafford, Rockingham, Hillsborough and Belknap County Sheriff ’s Offices, Federal Protective Service , along with deputy U.S. Marshals – “developed information indicating that Searles was residing with a known associate on Abbey Lane in Dover,” White stated.
