Leon Harker, 19 (BCSO) ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Detectives have arrested the second suspect in the rape of two young girls who said they were given an Uber ride to a northeast Albuquerque apartment last week. Deputy Felicia Maggard , a spokeswoman for the Bernalillo County Sheriff ’s Office, said Leon Harker, 19, was booked into jail Wednesday evening on two counts of criminal sexual penetration of a minor and other charges. She said the two girls, ages 12 and 16, told detectives Harker ’s friend, Shane Sandoval, 21, had called an Uber driver to pick up them up at a runaway shelter and give them a ride to his apartment. Paris McConville MCSO   A woman strangled her friend to death, then stabbed him before she turned herself into police Tuesday afternoon , according to court records.  Paris James McConville told police she killed Ryan D. Thompson in self-defense during a fight at Thompson's Southwest Portland apartment Monday evening , according to a probable cause affidavit written by Deputy District Attorney Bumjoon Park and filed in Multnomah County Circuit Court on Wednesday.  McConville, 34, went to the Portland Police Station shortly after 3 p.m. Tuesday. McConville told police she "killed Mr. Thompson and deserved to be punished," the affidavit said. She had no visible injuries.  Earlier court records identified McConville as male, but the affidavit identified McConville as a woman. SIERRA VISTA — A man has been arrested for murder after admitting to police he strangled his roommate and hid his body in a suitcase in the bedroom closet. Keith Allen White , 50, was charged with second-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence after police responded to Garden Plaza Apartments at 100 E. Golf Links Rd. on Monday night. Sierra Vista Police received a call at 9:13 p.m. Monday from a resident of the apartment, who reported that White had admitted to killing his roommate, Brian Cook, who is also a relative of the caller. Officers responded to the scene and spoke with the caller before making their way to White’s apartment on the north side of the complex.
