Residents have begun moving into the River House, a two- building apartment complex at 1785 N. Water St. consisting of 243 units. Developed by Atlanta- based Atlantic Realty Partners , the project marks the first entry into the city for the firm founded by two brothers originally from Whitefish Bay. The company, which has developed approximately 8,000 rental units across the country, has a handful of other developments in the Milwaukee area , including a cluster of buildings on W. Panoramic Interests is the developer who recently revised it’s design for 1,031 apartment units to be built near West Oakland BART (1). Previously, the plans called for 1,400 units, but was changed to 1,031 units by removing all of the one-bedrooms, and all but two studio apartments from the plans. Other interesting facts about the revised design include removing all luxury amenities such as gyms, pet spas and chef kitchens. Also removed from the floor plans are any empty corridors, to make most efficient use of the space to provide affordable, unsubsidized housing near a transportation hub. Also, no parking is provided for the complex, just seven spaces for car-sharing and deliveries. So occupants will be relying on public transit and car services. Lebanon— The apartment complex to be built behind the Element hotel on Route 120 in Lebanon moved has moved a step closer to reality as the developer has filed his plans and sought permission from the city to begin construction. Manchester developer Dick Anagnost filed a permit application with the Lebanon’s city planning department to begin construction on a $4 million, three- story apartment building . He hopes to be able to break ground on the project this fall and have it ready for occupancy next summer, according to Anagnost. The apartment building is the first in a planned 153- unit residential complex in Altaria Lebanon Park , a mixed commercial and residential development spanning 65 acres of which the 4-year-old Element hotel was the first phase. Anagnost expects the entire five- building apartment project to be completed by 2019 at a cost “all-in, probably $20 million to $30 million,” he said in an interview. The sale of apartment complexes continues throughout the Charleston region. Most recently, Atlanta-based Radco Cos. paid $22.9 million for the 198-unit former Woodbridge Apartment Homes in West Ashley. The complex at 2040 Ashley River Road is now called Radius at West Ashley . The sale price included $14.1 million in mortgage debt, according to Charleston County property records . The purchase marks the company's sixth acquisition this year and its second multifamily asset in the Charleston region. It also owns Greenwood at Ashley River at 6520 Dorchester Road. The previous owner of Radius at West Ashley was New Jersey-based  Raia Properties , which paid $14.5 million for the complex in 2006. Radco Residential will manage Radius. Radco plans to spend $3 million, or about $15,000 per unit, to upgrade the community. It was built in separate phases in 1972 and 2003 in 11 buildings on 16 acres.
