— A man was located and arrested on a warrant from an incident in July. That’s when he crashed his motorcycle into a fence on Noble Street and fled the area — leaving behind a female passenger with “serious bodily injury.” Along with fleeing the scene of a crash, he was also jailed on a third offense of driving on a revoked license.

— Shortly after 1 a.m., a pedestrian on Broad Street stated that a vehicle had pulled alongside him. With a pistol in hand, the unknown occupant asked “if there were any cops,” then drove away. Police searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

A contractor’s truck, which was reported stolen several days prior, was spotted on Lamont Street. When officers attempted to conduct a stop, the driver “fled at low speeds ... cut through a grassy area and onto the Greenbelt.” No pursuit was attempted, but a search of the fitness trail soon found the pickup abandoned in a wooded area near Stonebrook. No occupants were located.

Following filming of the Discovery Channel’s “Street Outlaws” at Thunder Valley, a spectator took a bicycle onto the dragway for an early morning ride. An officer reports seeing the suspect, 26, swerving to avoid track personnel giving chase, then wrecking. He initially “laid on the ground shaking and screaming,” but as officials approached, he “jumped on his bike and began riding around again.” After crashing a second time, he was brought into custody and arrested, charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
