Fairfax Village Fire Damages Apartment Building

BEVERLY HILLS, CA – A fire broke out in an apartment building in the Fairfax Village area near Beverly Hills Wednesday, damaging the exterior of the building but no one was hurt. Firefighters were sent to the 100 block of South Doheny Drive at 9:21 a.m. and extinguished the flames in 19 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

The fire was contained to the siding on the outside of the three-story building, and the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
