Even if you were willing to go with an illegal apartment rental (which you SHOULD NOT DO), you would not find one for $100 a night. I will suggest that you look into a hostel with communal cooking facilities. Be careful about illegal hostels, also - we usually recommend the Vanderbilt or Upper West Side YMCAs, or the Hostel Interantional hostel on 103rd Street.

I'm going to say this again, because you are exactly the kind of person who is most likely to get scammed out of your money - what you are looking for does not exist. If someone promises you an apartment rental for the price you want to pay, I can pretty much guarantee that it will be a scam, and you will end up here with no money and no place to stay. At all costs, we want to avoid that. Seriously, for that kind of money, look at hostels. The three I've recommended are safe, clean, and centrally located.

There’s a big demand for more affordable housing in Charlotte, where rents and home prices have shot up much faster than wages over the past few years.
