Excellent option for a serviced apartment - Review of Swiss-Belsuites Victoria Park, Auckland

We stayed at the Swiss Belsuites for two nights in early August. It was an easy and enjoyable experience from start to finish. I thought I had booked a one bedroom apartment, but they upgraded us so we had a whole room just for our luggage! The apartment was a wonderful size - plenty of room for work and play - and the full kitchen was very useful. The balcony looked across to Victoria Park which was great to wake up to.

There is no restaurant available but they do offer delivery from local restaurants, and it's only a short work into the CBD in one direction and up to Ponsonby Rd in the other direction. There's also a New World (supermarket) up the road and a convenience store right downstairs.

There isn't really anything I would fault about this hotel. I'd definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that overlooks Victoria Park

“Blacklist” star Megan Boone lists West Village apartment for $2.4M

It overlooks tiny Abingdon Square Park, and has a large fireplace, soundproof windows, high ceilings, a walk-in closet and access to the communal landscaped roof terrace . Charlotte affordable housing forum raises possible solutions

There’s a big demand for more affordable housing in Charlotte, where rents and home prices have shot up much faster than wages over the past few years. Many of the apartments being built now target more affluent renters, waitlists for housing vouchers are long and starter homes are snapped up almost immediately. So why aren’t developers building more affordable housing ?
