Romanian, Egyptian ministers discuss migration, terrorism
UPDATE: Jackson Police have confirmed that a shooting yesterday at the Abbey Villas Apartments was a domestic dispute between a female and her boyfriend.
When police arrived they found the 34-year-old woman had been shot once in the head.
Her condition remains critical today at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital.
The 29-year-old boyfriend was arrested about one hour later at a home on the 300 block of W. Biddle Street.
He is being held in the Jackson County Jail.

UPDATE: Jackson Police report that they’ve arrested a 29-year-old Jackson man in connection to Tuesday’s shooting. Investigators believe the suspect and victim know each other, and this was not a random shooting. Criminal charges are likely to be filed on Thursday.
UPDATE: The Jackson Police Chief Elmer Hitt says they have made no arrests yet.
We know the victim is a 34 year old white female. She was found with a single gunshot wound to the head.
No suspect information is being released at this time.
The victim is in critical condition at Henry Ford Allegiance.
Original Story: JACKSON, Mich. (WLNS) – One person was shot at Abbey Villas Apartments on Van Buren Street in Jackson.
The shooting happened inside a unit in Building B around 3:00 p.m.
One shooting victim was taken out of the building and was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
Victim’s condition unknown.
Police are still looking for suspect.
