Paris McConville went to the front lobby of the Central Precinct Tuesday afternoon and reported a dead person in an apartment in the 700 block of Southwest Saint Clair Avenue.

Paris McConvilleA 34-year-old man faces a murder charge after leading police to a man's body inside a Southwest Portland apartment.

Police said Paris McConville was lodged in the Multnomah County Jail on one count of murder. McConville will be arraigned Wednesday afternoon.

Police said the victim is 35-year-old Ryan D Thompson.

McConville went to the front lobby of the Central Precinct Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 22, and reported a dead person in an apartment in the 700 block of Southwest Saint Clair Avenue. Detectives found the man's body and began a suspicious death investigation.

During the investigation, detectives took McConville into custody.

There’s a big demand for more affordable housing in Charlotte, where rents and home prices have shot up much faster than wages over the past few years.
